She's a Whole Lotta Woman...But She's DEAD!! Yet another succesful night in karazhan went by with the first kill of the maiden of virtue. She's one big woman with some serious anger issues, Its a healer intensive fight but not too bad with the right plan. The loot was Bands of Indwelling for Freydis and disenchanted the Mitts of the Treemender. Well done to all involved and a thanks to Stiff who help us learn the fight previously but couldnt make the raid.(23/4/07)
We came, we saw, we dined... After another few wipes and much puzzling we downed the big freaky goul that is Moroes. Very much a fun fight with control being the key. So after only 1 week in Karazahn we have the first 2 bosses down and hopefully some more very soon. Loot was Brooch of Unquenchable Fury for Lockey and Belt of Gale Force for Gunthar. Also we had the emergance of the infamous Doomguard thanks to lockey's Curse of Doom!!!! (20/4/07)
Attumen DOWN! Well we came back again and took down Midnight and Attumen on our 2nd go. Big gratz to all who were present and gratz to Pazza and Dalta who got some phat loot each. Spectral Band of Innervation and Steelhawk Crossbow respectively. (14/04/07)
We step into Karazhan..... Well last night we finally took our first jaunt into karazhan and found the challenge that lays ahead will be demanding and not for the light hearted. The road to the first boss is a short but challenging run with no room for freeriders or slackers!! The horses have a 25 minute respawn timer and if the boss isnt down by then you have to do them all over again. A Big Gratz to Thundermager who got his first epic drop .........Grasp of the Dead . (13/04/07) Here's a pic of before the carnage
First views of Karazhan. After 3 or so weeks of instances and farming, five of the guild have made it to Karazhan - if only briefly. The quest chain is pretty straight forward really but we also needed the Arcatraz key along the way. So after a few wipes, potions, Naga and various other things that were intent on killing us, we got the job done. We thought it would be a rude not to take a look inside this first raid instance of The Burning Crusade. Here is the first view as you walk inside, a bit too quiet me thinks.
But after we poke our heads around the corner we see the first baddies, a couple of undead nags with 58k+ hit points.
Up the stairs the the right we find the ballroom, hmm. AOE FTW!!!!!
I thought that track undead might give us a better view of what was to come.......
We cant wait to take this place on 10 man and we will be doing runs to get more attunened in the next week or so. Until then dont be shy and get questing.
When is a tank not a tank? When he's been introduced to some water elementals in the Steam Vault. Thundermager didn't get away with it either, and yea feign death FTW!!!! First post Burning Crusade raid On the 2nd of march we are having our first guild raid since the expansion release, Zul Gurub is the destination and the main aim is to help settle in the new guys and have lots of fun doing so.
Onwards and upwards Well now with a lot more guild members heading towards level 70, and a fair number already there, attention should now be focused on gearing up and learning the new lvl 70 instances. There is a thread here on the forum with basic outlines of what to do next. Along with that there are proffessions to level up and items to farm.
First Guild Level 70 A big GRATZ to Jason (Firemaiden) on becoming the first to lvl 70 in Kimen Yahae. After 10 days of hardcore leveling Firemaiden dinged 70 on January 26th at about 12 noon uk time. Jason is now onto leveling his next toon to 70, he says he's going to enjoy the view this time!!!! Now its up to the rest of us to catch up...
